On finebaum. Saying he was around the team a lot and many times miles wouldn't even say hello to him. He also said there was a big disconnect between Les and former players.

Eta...Clark also called Florida cowardly and classless in their handling of the game.

The man didn't hold back on tell the truth Monday.

In all fairness, Ryan Clark and Les Miles aren't contemporaries at LSU. Ryan was gone a long time before Les got this job.

Seems like it. Coach O has made it his main point to invite ex players back.

Not sure why Les was dickish to ex players. Is it because he was somewhat of a controlling dickhead behind closed doors?

Yeah I was surprised he kept on talking about it. He did not sidestep one bit. Ryan seems like a really nice dude.

Dude loves LSU

Les was trying to act like Saban but wasn't getting the results.

Ryan was trying to be diplomatic about it with the "Miles did a good job continuing some of the winning and success Nick Saban had but..."

It may stem from many of them stabbing him and the program in the back by siding with their coach over their program.

Clark saying Florida was cowardly and classless in the handling of the game. Wow.

I would feel differently if Eric Reid or Brandon Taylor said Les wouldn't talk to them.

Sour grapes. Miles should be given credit for the good as well as the bad. The guy coach our 2007 team to a national championship and SEC championship. He had one of the best regular seasons ever in 2011. Give credit where credit is due.

What purpose does this serve.
I'm not ready to pile on Les, he was successful despite any flaws he had and there weren't many.
His failure to adjust his offense is why he is gone and I don't think it was farfetched to say that was an easy fix without trying to become anything other than putting your offense in a better position to make plays, he failed to do that after nearly losing his job last year.

Why would you have an interview then start talking about an ex coach because he didn't tell you hello?

People need to know what the flip side is of catering to former players. The opposite of the guarded Les Miles approach is letting the former players pick their bag man to coach the basketball team because they want access. You don't have to be a dick to former players, but deifying them without qualification gets you Johnny Jones.
