hunter devall, will lemarche, these kinds of guys are going to have to step up now in postseason. before the injury you knew Reynolds would be one of the key guys out of the pen (if not the 3rd starter by that point).

devall looked better on tuesday than he has in previous outings. perhaps his back injury is healed up.

I think we will start to get a better idea once some of these guys start pitching against tougher competition, too. I like the stuff from both of those guys.

Rumbelow also needs to start acting like an upperclassman.

Bourgeois seems to be the best middle reliever right now for postseason.

no question but im sure he'd rather leave him in the setup role if possible instead of having to come in earlier.

Yeah true. Rum below seems to be the right option there. Hopefully he can be more consistent.

What a tough break for Reynolds; hope his recovery is a smooth one and look forward to seeing him next year.

In the meantime, McCune's return seems more and more important.

not suprisng to anyone familiar with PBS baseball.

almost every pitcher that has ever come out of there has had arm trouble within the first year of college or their SR year at PBS

Hate to say it but Joe Broussard may be the one guy that we miss come regional time. If we have to play additional games in regional or 3 games in Super, we could be in trouble. Offense will have to hit us out of it.

This may hit us on Sun and midweek games as well.

OK
Keep thinking this team is the greatest ever when they've swept Auburn and Mizzou.
We're about to find out what this team is about.

Bad news on the LSU baseball front, as fr. pitcher Russell Reynolds will miss the rest of the year with a torn labrum

I'm not commenting on Parkview pitchers having arm trouble, but just naming some Parkview pitchers. Whether they had arm trouble or not, I have no idea. The only two I remember were Forrest Moore and Alex Byo.

i REALLY hope McCune can step up.

That dude went from Friday night monster to disappearing into the atmosphere.

Was he really THAT big of a fluke? Or did he forget how to pitch? It's stunning....

Blake Johnson.. the best pitcher ever out of Parkview made it to AAA. Maybe they should stay out of college, son.
