Jay basically admitted that this year isn’t gonna happen last night

Most people knew that before last night

Jay knew before last night

He also basically said he was still going to coach as if it was.

It means enough for you to be posting on an LSU message board.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that it affects those things lol

My belief in a turnaround is growing slimmer. - I still don’t get it- I think they have a ton of talented pieces. A tons of talented arms… but just can’t get it put together. I don’t understand why. I don’t think Pearson is great at 3rd, but he is serviceable. 2nd base- Dardar and Simpson should both be decent enough. Milam is great Braun is getting there. We just can’t put it together consistently. I don’t understand why.

Because everything you just said describes a very average team. You named a “serviceable” player, two players that “should be decent enough”, a great (defensive) player, and a player that is “getting there”

All true but you have to admit you would rather see an LSU team kick arse.

Not the first time you’ve made a Nazi-style list on TD. You would have been a great concentration camp supervisor.

We haven't abandon the ship, but can't fit the leak. Ship is slowly sinking and lately very fast.

We will be there. Can’t make many but these last 3 home series. Hoping to get hot.

Jay's press conference told you last night this team is not that talented. It's on him because he messed up roster evaluations. It's not just that they whiffed on everyone in the portal, they whiffed hard on the current roster before those guys too. He banked on guys like Bide to be his catcher.

Post here. I am ashamed to see so many of you abandon ship.

I quit on them every time they lose. Then I'm back in my Seats in Left Field for the inevitable win streak to begin.

Well tonight is the night. We either bow up and take 2.
Or we bow out and start over looking towards next season.
This is my sentiment as well.

But I'll still watch the games when time allows and visit BR to catch a weekend series or two. At least tickets and lodging will be less expensive...

Not abandoning ship but facing the reality that this is not good. They literally do nothing well! However I will not be surprised if they go on the road and win a Regional somewhere.

I’ll never give up on a Jay Johnson team, but the last 2 weeks have been tough,

I’ll always pull for my team. Just because I don’t think we’ll do much doesn’t mean I’ve “given up”.

If it’s not too late, go ahead put my name on list. Not a big dea—we just won a couple of championships and we’ll win another soon

I treat it like every other sport. If we aren't doing great and I have something else to do I'm doing that instead. I'm not planning my day around it.
