LSU’s problem starts and ends with the OL and OL coach. Berry / Durham would have much better stats

Everyone we have on this team skill position wise would look capable with a better oline.

We have finished dead last in the SEC in rushing offense for the past 2 years and we haven’t had a consistent running game in 5 years.
Last two years weren't lack of talent in RB room.
Some of yall will put blame on anyone other than Brad Davis and Joe Sloan. Nuss was the problem until we saw MVB in there. Turns out that was false . Now we are saying the 2 5* RBs aren't good enough?
Lane's offense is centered around the run. OL coach and new OL (or someone who can develop our OL) is what this run game needs.

he has failed to develop talent

We need competent o-lineman much more than a running back. Lsu oline is so bad it's mind numbing

Frank was at UTSA for 4 seasons and didn’t have a RB ever get an NFL carry. Is he really a guru? Does he really have an eye for talent, or does he just recruit Louisiana’s best?
He’s needs lsu more than lsu needs him.

Durham looks like
The guy who's been playing with injury all season long, dick!

You either develop RBs, or you don’t

There are two currently in the league, Wilson didn’t recruit either. They have a combined 11 carries

Just like in the nfl, you should never use high capital on a Running back, same for college. Do not use large portion of NIL on a running back, would be a waste of resources. Put that money towards offensive lineman that can actually run block, and watch the run game explode. There’s atleast 5 runningbacks every recruiting cycle that come out of Louisiana that can produce behind a good offensive line.

Exactly, Berry hits the hole twice as fast as Durham and can actually cut in the hole but another RB is always welcome…….if we can afford him. NIL has taken away depth for most teams.

guess you didnt see the X post Lacey put out last week trashing Kiffin for his traitorous behavior
I didn’t see it, but a guy playing for his second team in 2 seasons doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on in this argument.

The problem with the run game isn’t the backs.

Ok, he developed Josh Williams. Is that what you want to hang your hat on?
That is exactly what has been wrong with the talent pool at RB under him since 2022. The two best runners were a walk on a guy they didn’t offer out of HS (Diggs).
