Very relevant post. The study that gives these numbers what performed in Israel, where there is a higher percentage of vaccinated people. The efficacy decreased into the 60’s. However, the amount of hospitalizations of vaccinated personnel due to covid remained the same. If the actually care as much now as they did last year we may see a similar requirement to the end of the season. But there really is no telling. We re-opened with far more daily cases than we shut down for. So I don’t know what their threshold is.

After reading many of these comments I am so glad that it wasn’t this idiot generation that had to deal with polio and small pox. Every single piece of data available confirms that it is almost exclusively the non vaccinated who are keeping this thing going.

Jim, well said. All one has to do is to read the lead story in this morning’s Advocate to know what the problem is. Those who have gone max stupid will be the first ones bitching when Tiger stadium is not at full capacity on 9/11. With the way things are headed there is no way there won’t be restrictions. Do you think that if 100% of the population were vaccinated we would be having this conservation?

Edited to add this was a month ago. Shes fine. Mild fever of 100° for a day and a headache for a couple days. She's also 70.
