That's like saying Peyton Manning is overrated if Denver moved him to TE and he sucked.

Shep needs to settle down and concentrate on NFL. After that he can write his tell all
Posted on 1/1/13 at 4:36 pm to JJ27
He didn't move to WR the first month he was here. Just saying.

Shep sent a Tweet from practice as it was ongoing per 247 Sports. He went straight into the doghouse. Which he deserves.
Shep has a bright future as a position coach after banging around a bit on some NFL practice squads. Doubt he'll ruin it.

The only failure for Shep was choosing LSU over a team that would've played him at QB. Miles told him he'd stay at QB if he came to LSU over Texas. The first month of his freshman year he was moved to WR. I'd say that would constitute being fricked over.
Ask anyone that watched Shep's first few practices at QB and they'll tell you he was never going to be an SEC QB.

I really don't get why shep was seen so highly. He never panned out and wasn't anything special at all. The only good he did was help get so e recruits to LSU. On the field he was basically garbage. Not sure why he'd bitch...he didn't earn it on the field.
Although he probably thought he was the shite bc he was awesome in some suburban school district.
He didn't even seem like a legit passer on his recruiting tapes.

It was after the 13-3 Florida loss. Sorry, 6 weeks into his freshman season.

I think RS would be a good coach. Has a likable personality and something dynamic in him and an obvious love of the game. Just a new road to travel - one that could lead to something good. He may need to wake up to a life that has him still part of football but in a different way. Would love to see something like that for him. Either way, I would hope he wouldn't air out his issues publicly.

Some people just make excuses for their failures. See it every day.
I saw his recruiting tapes. I saw him running around a lot. Not much pocket passing at all.
He got his chance to be a QB, then HE decided he wanted to be a WR. He never had the skillset for either job. Maybe he should've campaigned to be a RB. That's the only time he succeeded on the field, when he was taking a handoff.

It should be called "How Les Miles lied and screwed my 4 years at LSU"
That might be what the truth is and he may write that.

How many of yall complaining about Shep not getting a chance to throw the ball actually ever saw him throw a college regulation size ball? I did, and I'm glad he never threw one in a game.

Well he has barely played for 4 years so last night's absence was no surprise.

Uh I don't have links to what the players tell me to my face. I am not a reporter just friends with about 15 current/former players, mostly starters, but hey what do I know. Most of them want him gone but obviously there are about 20% that like him.

Last night was misery. Knowing that we have to endure terrible offenses for the foreseeable future is misery. Knowing that the head coach doesn't even see the problem is misery.
You are miserable.

Bottom line is Shep was NFL bound last year and Miles begged him to come back and made promises to keep him at LSU which were all lies. Shep and others could take the entire program down if its a tell all

Everybody is miserable.
That includes you fricko.
