I imagine Georgia is going to go hard at the jello shots this year being it's not very often they get to make the trip. Oklahoma doesn't make the trip often, but I don't think they can hang drinking with some of the other SEC fan bases. I think Troy will be loud at first, not sure how long it will last. The SEC in general will travel well. Whatever SEC teams are in the finals will win this year's jello shot challenge. I don't know if they'll break the record, but they'll put up a fight.

Yeah, I imagine they'll break out into an early lead. I don't think they make a whole week, but they definitely have an easier side of the bracket though. The winning teams each day usually do a little more celebrating.

Might not even be worth opening this year since LSU isn’t there.

Pat McAfee is gonna pull a Todd Graves

Speaking of, is Todd going to be funding UGA in Omaha?

I could see Pat Mcafee dropping 100k on shots almost immediately so if they make a run they might take it

What are they? $5 a shot? That'll get them part way there

They'll definitely need a lot more, but being 30% of the way there before a game is even played would be a pretty good start lol. With McAfee routinely offering up six figures of his money on College Gameday I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up dropping however much is needed to break the record. It also helps that a report just came out today that he is closing in a deal that would pay him $60 million per year.

to act like a complete fool on national TV yelling, and wearing a cowboy hat, when he has never touched a cow...

BUT, HEY!!! I'll make myself look dumb as frick for $2 million a year, much less $60 mill.

You guys let stereotypes with zero statistical data and overused cliches that can quite literally never be proven/disproven to run your opinions on sports and other facets of life…

How on earth can you quantify something like this?

Spoiler alert:

YOU CAN’T

I think West Virginia will be right there trying their hardest. When LSU played them up there in football several years ago, they’re fans were drunk loud mouths and yelled FU to any LSU fan they saw.

Agreed.

I think they will have a much higher % of fans attend that many might expect. It's the program's first time in the CWS and they aren't a school that (at least recently) is a perennial championship contender in other sports (football and basketball) like Texas, Alabama, and Georgia. Those fans will be interested in the games. But more in the nature of "I'll watch because my team is in it, but I'm not moving heaven and earth to attend." Ole Miss fans kind of fit the mold of WVU fans. But them having won recently takes a bit of the luster off of this trip. Troy doesn't have a big enough fanbase to make a dent, and UNC doesn't really care (kind of like Florida).

WVU fans will be like LSU fans in the early 90's. It was the first time in a VERY long time their school had a chance to win anything of note, so they will show up in droves.
