As an LSU fan you can probably find them for $20 or less... I think the cheap LSU gameday shirts at B&B are around $10-15

I'm thinking about pulling the whole "I'm from Baton Rouge and trying to show these guys a great game, think you could cut me a deal?" card

. Yes. Yes it is. There is a lot of history there that can't be minimized and it's is relatively scenic. A lot of cities would love to have what BR has.

I bet you're a sidewalk fan. Also, my roots are Mississippi State. My father and both brothers all attended State.

I highly doubt we only play our 1st team for 2 quarters like we did against UAB...

Hey pivey,

Some new restaurants in the area that I think y'all would enjoy are City Pork Deli & Charcuterie, The Rum House, Olive or Twist, The Pelican House, Portico, What's Shakin Leroy's and Galatoire's Bistro.

Late night snack - Kolache Kitchen. They are right across the street from Tigerland where the old Blimpie Sub shop used to be. Authentic Kolaches made just like they are in Houston if you've ever had them.

Hope this helps!

Also if you are looking to go downtown:

Restaurants - Restaurant IPO, Aztecas, Stroubes, Tsunami, Little Village, Blend Wine Bar, Capital City Grill.

Bars: Huey's, Lucy's, Happy's, Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's, The Roux House, Bald Eagle Pub,

Late night: Cane's is now open on Third downtown.

Not sure what a sidewalk fan is but I'll try and enlighten you. I have a BA from LSU in Architecture with a 3.89 cumulative GPA. I have had season tickets since I graduated High School. I started with my own hard earned pair of tickets for me and my wife in section 420 which I still own. I still hold on to those tickets because I love them but I give those to friends now since I have 4 in the stadium club. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge but my entire family is from Mississippi and they are either A)trapped there beyond their control or B)got out and will never go back. Now dust yourself off and try again.

*edit* didn't want to be an arse but the sidewalk fan thing kind of set me off sorry.

Oh don't start making things up little puppy. Prescot was the QB for every score MSU made and in fact at halftime MSU was only leading by 6 by a score of 26-20.
If you think that LSU is even remotely similar to UAB then you are in for a long night. Well, you boys are in for a long night anyway no matter what you think. LOL.

I'd love to get down there for a game. Throw Ole Miss in there as well.

Stadium Sports Bar inside L'Auberge Casino has some of the coldest beer around- and lots of wide-screen TVs....Nice place to watch sports and put back a few cold ones.

You seem to be more of an LSU fan. Quit pretending to like those clowns just bc you attend school there. I attended Ole Miss and they couldn't turn me away from LSU!!

MSU gave up TD pass plays of:

(1)88 yards.
(2)81 yards.
(3)75 yards.

One was in the 1st Qtr., one was in the 2nd Qtr. and one was in the 4th Qtr. Now which ones were against the MSU 1st team defense???

Hillarious.
