Tuesday night Dec. 5th 1972. This LSU senior cut T Harry Williams’ class in Lockett Hall to go watch the basketball season opener against nationally ranked Memphis in the AC...
...I still remember that Tuesday night. History class took backstage to a guy making history. Who could have known?
I envy you on many levels. You had a history class with T Harry Williams AND you got to go to that Memphis game! I would have given ANYTHING to have T. Harry Williams as a professor! I have heard ao many stories about him from my dad who had him as a professor back in the late 1940s or early 50s.

RIP Dale Brown.
I was a student during his heyday and went to his Final Four and all of his regionals.
That regional in the Superdome was epic.
He was a great asset to LSU.

I was very fortunate to take a couple of classes with T Harry Williams. Both were in the big auditorium of Lockett. Awesome classes.

Many dont like him but I do. He was the coach when I was at LSU and I will forever like him the best. He got Shaq...Chris Jackson...Blanton...put in the freak defense. I will miss him. And he hated the NCAA
Amen brother! Had the opportunity to meet him several times when I was in middle school. Such a great speaker. Made me want to run through a wall for him.
RIP Coach!
