RC is not a quitter he was blind sided.

By what? Nuss staying or Van Buren coming in?

He should have stayed and competed for the 2025 QB2 and 2026 QB1 spots once Underwood flipped.

He’d already played in 3 games this year and probably wanted to keep his redshirt. If anything, they did him a favor if he was a known transfer.
This actually makes sense. I didn't realize he'd played in three games already. Didn't make sense they wouldn't play the best QB when Nussmeier went out.

Agree particularly to possibly be sitting 2 years behind McCord anyway. But to each their own.

Good. His bass won't be rattling my windows multiple times a week.

Kyle McCords numbers shot way up from OSU when he went to SYR. Maybe that’s what Collins sees. Good luck to him.

one is not like the other. I wish Collins the best, but so many of these non starters that transfer don't pan out. Not saying he won't at all.

Did you respond to wrong person?

It is cold in Syracuse and frozen plups are a certainty.

My take was that swann was more of a drop in for nuss gameplan wise especially with him being more of a vet. If given a week of prep Ricky would probably end up being the guy.

Maybe I'm off on that. swann definitely didn't look at all comfortable when he had his chance so maybe he really was 3rd string behind Ricky until near the end of the season when Ricky had decided he was transferring and swann had to go from trying to scout team qb to playing time in a short window.

He redshirted last year so that’s not it.

More likely he got beat out for the two or had already declared his intentions to transfer.

Might be a little bit of an adjustment for guy from Baton Rouge

My daughter just finished her first semester for Syracuse in Madrid, Spain as part of her scholarship program. She goes to campus there in a few few weeks. I told her she better prepared for the winter there.

McCord has another year left unless he leaves for the NFL, which I can't see.

If McCord leaves, Syracuse will bring in someone else. They aren't going to roll into next year with Rickie Collins. So, he didn't really improve his situation.
