They knew Collins was going to enter the portal prior to the game. Swann played last night to get them an opportunity to evaluate him. Now the staff knows how aggressive they have to be in the portal moving forward.

This is what happens when the #1 QB recruit is coming to take your spot in the order all year long. He’s been making plans for awhile now, and I’m sure chances are better he stays if Underwood flips earlier.

Do you agree that having no backup with experience is good?

Look how other teams burned us by having a backup ready to go, unlike us.

I'd argue that this season did us no favors with protecting Nuss (no running, etc), crippling our offense. We have no viable backup and our offense suffered from no QB running threat.
