So you're saying he does know something about the technical side of football?
What exactly is your point here? The guy didn't say everyone that has an issue with this knows nothing about football.

The Giants coach even said it was legal and they teach/do it as well. I guess y’all know more than he does.

Lol. That was NOT an illegal block.

@EmmanuelAcho
This is ridiculous, dangerous and cowardly! Straight cowardly. Prayers up for Kayvon Thibodeaux.
Big Whit’s response to Acho
@AndrewWhitworth
Ouch! Cowardly ? I’m all for the discussion of keeping guys healthy and if this block is dangerous needs to be removed. But call a guy a coward for doing exactly what he’s coached. I’m usually with ya on most things. That doesn’t make sense to me though.

All these dumb motherfrickers on this board crying over a perfectly legal block.

And the Giants coach...

I was expecting way worse. Looked like the defender saw him, braced and they both started to go low, but Moss went lower to block him. It's not like Moss took out his knee while the guy had no clue he was coming to block him.

Stopped right there. All he does is whine from his L.A. bubble.

It is just said that state of affairs in football. If Moss goes high and the defender lowers his head and gets hit in the head, they are calling for Moss' head.
If he goes low, and the defender does not adjust, they are calling for his head.
Aim for the middle and either happens, they still blame Moss.
This is the same issue for defenders trying to make a tackle. It has become impossible to do without people complaining. You can simply stop playing the game of football as a sport if you don't want these types of injuries to happen.

Whether you agree with him or not, Marcus Spears is a good follow and is dug in on this issue

A running back, wr, and TE gets tackled at the knees regularly. Do we stop that as well?
Maybe they shouldn’t play football and make millions of dollars if they believe they should never get hurt. It’s part of the game.

The other guy double clutches and it looks like they are both going to go in for the hit but the other guy doesn't. Yes, I think Moss goes in too low, but this wasn't an unsuspecting player getting his knee taken out.
Posted on 8/22/22 at 12:18 pm to Tigerstark
Not to hijack the thread but does Moss have a chance at making the final Bengals' roster?
Posted on 8/22/22 at 12:25 pm to tigerfan8182
Looks like Moss was going high, then the giants guy jukes like he is about to go low, so moss goes low in response, but for whatever reason the giants player goes full retard and stands straight up

It was plenty legal, if you want to place blame, put it on the turf-that was the real culprit.

Yep. And the damn rule book. It was a LEGAL block that happens multiple times every game on both teams.

So, basically blocked the same way every DB tackles?
