I can’t say anything too descriptive. The graphics are amazing. Worth every penny they spent on it.

You should see the recruiting board. “____ commits to LSU!”

“Doesn’t matter until February”
“Great, another 3*”
“Good, but we need more linemen”

For now, is it just the front entrance and nutrition center?

Or have they also completed the locker room, player's lounge, walkthrough areas, etc.

Just the top half? sheer idiocy. Try top three at the least.

Out of the schools in the SEC, LSU is the only school who doesn't have to share their football teams' weight room with other sports.

Both LSU baseball and softball have their own weight rooms now. All other sports use the Strength and Conditioning Facility attached to Tiger Stadium's north end zone.

While any LSU athlete can use any weight room, team functions are held at their designated weight rooms. CWW was promised a weight room for the men's basketball team at some point. Which probably means the WBB will get one, too.

At all other SEC schools, most if not all of the sports share the football team's weight room. I know UK has a weight room for it's basketball teams, don't know if anyone else does.

LSU is in fine shape in terms of weight rooms/nutrition centers now. Add in the fact that LSU athletes get to live in suite style apartments with a full service grocery on the ground floor, with a retail center featuring a Starbucks and Wendy's along with a high rise parking garage, and LSU is sitting very pretty.

this was an opportunity to jump ahead. Now they are maybe on the same level as A&M and Bama who will probably be upgrading again shortly.

there is just so much you can do. It is a goddamn building. It is nice

We aren’t losing recruits or football games because we don’t have a water feature or a gummy vitamin dispenser.

I think the new additions that Aranda is mostly responsible for are game changers in both recruiting and game prep.

Prime rib and lobster in the nutrition center doesn't hurt either.

Here's what CBS Sports had to say about the new locker room...

quote:

LSU just one-upped the rest of the SEC in the facilities battle

College football programs have been in a facilities arms race for more than a decade, and LSU just upped the ante on the rest of the country. The program released new photos and a video of the new locker room at the football operations building, and it looks more like a spaceship than a place to prepare for a college football game.

The locker room, which was designed by HTNB Architecture, features a chair that folds out into a bed, complete with an iPad holder to watch film, charging ports and storage below the seat/bed. Instead of stand-up lockers, the new facility has an open center so players and coaches can see each other throughout the room. Helmet storage, more charging ports and personal safes are located above the players, including ports to charge devices in helmets that provide data to LSU coaches and support staff.
