The Joe Brady offense threw WR screens against blitzes. Just sayin.

Also, this offense only worked because Joe either got rid of the ball in the face of the blitz or avoided it like a boss.

I’m sure all this has been discussed but it’s wild to go back and watch it now that I’ve seen what’s going on this year.

Joe Brady is the most overhyped person in LSU history. Look at what those guys on offense are doing in the NFL.

We also threw it to the RB a lot.

Lastly. Lol Trevor Lawrence.

not until 2nd half. he shoulda started them in 1st quarter when we had trouble finding some hot routes as venables was blitzing his arse off as we knew he would

We started the first 2 drives inside the 10. Maybe, he made halftime adjustments.

Yes, good coaches (JB, NFL, or otherwise) get the most out of their talented players.

Imagine what LSU would be if we had top 5 talent with nobody to coach them up. Oh wait…

1.coached an Unknown to one of the most surprising heisman wins ever
2.Called plays for the most prolific offense in college football history
3.Won a national title as a first time coordinator
4.Won a broyles award
5.Became an nfl offensive coordinator before he was 31
6.Is overrated

One of these is not like the others.

90% of the fans and Woodward himself would swap O for him in a heartbeat.

i disagree. the Tigers were starting to put it together before the half.

once they had the lead it was over. they buried their ground game and Trevor QB playing was exposed.

We had pretty poor field position early in the game. Once that wasn't an issue we killed them.

That being said even Burrow admitted they never really figured out the blitz packages

It's hard to throw against Blitzes when it only take 3 pass rushers to get to the LSU QB.

Simply not true. Burrow was known as a talent and showed flashes to end the 2018 season.

2.Called plays for the most prolific offense in college football history

Called 3rd down plays at most. He admitted E called most of the plays.

3.Won a national title as a first time coordinator

He was passing game coordinator not the OC.

6.Is overrated

Brady was pivotal in the changes that made that offense one of the best ever, but E proved himself in 2016 with a built in system. The issue this year is there is not a legit experienced play caller running things for Peetz. This again is how stupid and naïve O is. He completely ignored what E brought to the table. Hell our offense was pretty damn good last year at times. That credit goes to E.
