You’re right. Ja’Marr is better. I’m a fan of Josh Reed and everything he did at LSU, but Chase is better.

I fully support him making a decision that he thinks is best for him.

At what point do enough starters opt out before we are a shell of what we could have been.

He left early too, you know that right? Was he also “quitting on his team”?

Jefferson didn’t bounce a month before the season

You really think only LSU fans act a certain way? I just don’t see the need to single out LSU fans here.

If anything I think a majority are being fair. You would see a lot of similar reaction elsewhere, if not worse.

There is no selfishness in thinking the kid elected to wear #7 quit weeks before the season opener. Those are facts.

Told you all. This really sucks. We almost lost Shevlin due to RC too, but I think he’s staying now.

Why do you assume Chase is “running with some thugs”

Because someone is obviously making the decision for him. If you recall, he said he was playing about a month ago.

Rather, it is believed agents may have simply convinced Chase to leave before his third collegiate season.

Kids should never make a statement about "if my team is playing I'm playing" or whatever his dad stated that his son told him, until they sort thru or wade thru all the sharks.

He was probably coached to this decision by people that are just waiting to make big money off of him being drafted.

I don’t think Clark had anything to do it with it. He has nothing to gain financially by playing.

It feeds Clark’s enormous ego

By this logic, what's to stop Stingley sitting out this year and next since he's a lock to be a first rounder? Or any NFL type talent for that matter?

Nothing is to stop that from happening. Nothing ever was there to stop it from happening.

Players are getting smarter about what their value is and how valuable each year is in terms of long term finances. Simple as that. Times change and teams will adapt

I don’t play for LSU. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Well let him then, who cares.

So you think giving up on your teammates a few weeks before your first game is good? If so, you’re kind of fricked up.

Honestly, I can see this scenario happening. It's not far fetched at all. Bottom line, we dance with what we've got. Which by the way is pretty damn good!

Again the question is why you assume these people that are making this decision are some thugs or someone that you implied will get him into some sort of danger or trouble?

The fact y'all still think this is about Covid and his safety is hilarious. All the rumors about Ryan Clark are now confirmed true and the lockeroom is a mess right now.

All the people saying he is a thug pos for doing this... just know, he is going to make more in his first year as a pro than half the people on this board will make in their lifetime. So everyone who is calling him selfish doesn’t know wtf they are talking about because they will never be in a situation like the one he is in.

We just had the greatest college season of all time, Chase doesn’t owe the fans anything. Go cash in.
