When Hawkins went out, wasnt Malone first man up.

I can see him taking over LT/RT

Hopefully spring practice will help sort out things a bit on the line, but I would think Malone, Brumfield, Chiki, will compete strong for those positions on the OL.

No one has mentioned Magee. Has he recovered from his injury enough to be a factor?

He was the first man up but not the last. He didn't play well.

He plays too high. He is plenty mean.

Hawkins is the only one of those two we need to replace. Alexander is coming back, IDK if you caught the news. My personal guess, Brumfield or Malone.

You've gotta be thinking of Pocic.

Ummm, the past, Alexander came back, moved to Tackle...and Pocic was C because he could make the calls more reliably than Clapp, after a year starting at RG, I'm sure Clapp will be able to move to C

LT-Pocic-C.O.V.- G. Brown
LG-Teuhema-Magee-Boutte
C-Clapp-Dodd
RG-Brumfield/Weathersby/Campbell
RT-KJ/Weathersby/Domond

Allen RS
Campbell-probable RS
Savage RS

Think LT-LG-C are pretty set
I have a couple same guys at different spots cause of how Grimes has done in past switching guys around to find best combinations. Grimes has done a great job building quality competition at every spot especially once this next class arrives. Big Ups to him

I know Magee was hurt this year, but I would think he gets in there early. I love my man Brum and I hope he takes the RG spot.

It would be great for Clapp to show some versatility and take the center spot.

Other than that, who knows? We stacked!

I think Pocic, Clapp, Teuhema, and Weathersby start based on last year. There are many candidates for the 5th starter. Always nice to have 7-8 competent SEC players in the OL.

The OL is sort of like QB's. Usually there is not much rotation in those two position groups.

Glad we have a lot of options. Ole miss has 6 returning scholarship lineman and half are RS fresh/true sophomores.

Im curious of the battle between brumfield and boutte assuming clapp moves to center

Clapp has the potential to be an all-SEC Guard. Why move him to Center? I think Pocic might stay at center, given his injury and recovery time, he might not have time to adjust to LT.

Dodd could be the starter at Center leaving Clapp and Teuhama at their guard spots!!!

Clapp can also be a good center. He was a RS freshmen at guard. Teams shuffle their line a lot to get the best 5 in. IF we move Pocic to LT, it makes sense to move Clapp unless they think Dodd is good enough to start at center. There is talent at the guard position with Boutte/brumfield coming up to allow for shuffling
