Not saying Les was some sort of offensive mastermind, but he would have more than competent defenses and his running backs could run and his O lines blew teams off the ball even with 7 or 8 in the box

It was definitely time to move on from Miles and yes its not a coincidence that our oline hasnt been up to par since miles left...say what you want about miles he could coach oline

you mean the season we lost 3 in a row when we were in the top 4 for the playoffs?

Pretty sure you don't have to worry about that this year.

One thing is for sure. A Les Miles offensive line would never let 3 guys routinely beat his front 5 and if he had to he would go into full Lestcles mode and wear the competition out with a 7-8 minute drive and deliver pain.

Les miles could coach o line to great/elite run blockers, but when going up against comparable talent his scheme just couldn’t get it done.

Well technically he wasn't fired after right after those 3 games. Remember he got his arse whipped by nick Saban for the 6 straight time and was dominated , by Arky and Ole Miss. So logical fans were sick of his bull crap excuses about his junior high offense.

he goes 9-3 or even 8-4 there is no way he is fired.
8-4 would be pathetic given the talent

O was HC for LSU football for the greatest season I’ve known as an LSU fan. Thus, he gets some time from me to see if he can do the job we hired him to do. having said that, a 5-6 record since that great season is troublesome.
