Having 1 of CFB best players ever playing QB will quiet folks. Not having that player and allowing the opening game opponent to run the same plays all game with success 2 years in a row, will have them out in droves. At least that's my theory.

LSU's first non-winning seasons since the 90's was last year. The 2nd looks to be coming shortly. So yes, I was correct in saying Orgeron would sink the program.

One really great season.
One “meh” season.
Two really really bad seasons.
The problem is, LSU should NEVER have ANY really bad seasons with the amount of talent it consistently has on its roster. Orgeron has had 2 out of 4. He’s not holding to any standard any LSU fan should be ok with.

If LSU loses 7-8g this year, they may well be on their way. But this program is in much better shape than it was when Hallman took over (and proceeded to make it even worse).

His weekly segment was dropped not long after Orgeron was hired and has not been on Baton Rouge radios since all while he does weekly segments with numerous radio shows throughout the SEC footprint. He has also said point blank on his podcast that he is blackballed from appearing on radio in Baton Rouge
