I think it's either Greenville or Corvallis. Clemson wouldn't be a shock either

Since I live in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, I’m rooting pretty hard for UNC or NC State! I’ll take East Carolina though!

LSU is going to Tucson. Too obvious

Not even UGA or UK? Seems they smoked both of them just this week.

UCSB's three weekend starters are legit but no bullpen. Hitting is much better lately

There is no difference in flying from Eugene to Phoenix or Eugene to Florida.
Are you really serious with this??? It’s a 2.5-hour nonstop flight from Eugene to PHX. It’s over 8-hours with connections and no non-stop option to Tallahassee.
Eugene-PHX = 941 miles
Eugene-Tallahassee = 2305 miles
(And that’s air distance, not road miles)

I wouldn't be surprised
Tucson, Arizona – Arizona (36-21)

Nc state is 33-20?
They had 3 games canceled, two weeks with no midweek games, and only played 2 tournament games. They only played 9 Q4 games compared to 16 for LSU, for example. 18-11 in the ACC is host worthy.

PLEASE come to Oklahoma. Either site.

The committee gives so much leeway to the west coast. There is no difference in flying from Eugene to Phoenix or Eugene to Florida. Hotels are even cheaper in Florida. Man the frick up and go play some teams in the preseason. They just keep getting the ‘their rpi is bad because there are less good teams around them’ break. Show the frick up and play people.
The problem is more about midweek games. Arizona played weekend series against La Tech, Northeastern and San Diego and a weekend classic in TX against DBU, Alabama, and Indiana along with a midweek game against TCU while they were there. They did only go 7-6 in those games, but it wasn’t for lack of scheduling good matchups. They even scheduled conference opponents midweek to try to help. WSU, UW, Stanford, and UCLA all being 150 or worse in the RPI didn’t help.

Watch us end up back in Corvallis.

I’m still trying to make sense of Indiana St, ECU, Duke, and Arizona. There doesn’t seem to be much consistency in which were chosen to host and which weren’t. You can look at Indiana St and Arizona and think that the conference tournament results carried a lot of weight, but then Duke and ECU suggest otherwise. You can look at Indiana St and think they were penalized for playing in a weak conference, but so did ECU. You can look at Indiana St’s #28 in KPI and think that was it, but Duke is #14 and ECU and Arizona were #29 and #30.
I guess at the end of the day, I don’t have a lot of problem with Arizona hosting as PAC-12 regular season and tournament champs or Indiana St out due to a weak conference and poor tournament. I just can’t see the justification for ECU.

Why do people say this?
Because there certainly is a legitimate chance Arizona could be the 16 seed as they have by far the worst RPI of the host teams. Certainly not a guarantee, but if they are then the Tucson regional will be paired with Knoxville as it’s pretty much a lock Tennessee will be the Number one seed.

Latest projections indicate LSU will travel to Norman OK (The Tennessean)

Was watching Arizona vs USC. Zona has some Uuuge dudes. About 6 of them as big as Jones.
