Regardless of what happens Saturday, this season was a huge success

At the beginning of the season, I picked LSU to go 7-5 maybe 8-4 in the regular season. I would have thought you were nuts if you’d said that they would win the west and play for a SEC Championship. The future is bright for this team. Geaux Tigers!

Sure. But the bowl game (capital one vs Purdue likely) will determine whether of not it is a success or failure

If we finish 9-5 with 3 straight losses it's hard to call it a success, it's a wash at that point. Alabama is not our Super Bowl.

6-3 in conference is a massive success now? I mean ight

Didn't we go 9-3?

So 1 game over your prediction? Seems like the season was as expected

Alabama is sorta our Super Bowl until we get clear of it.

I don’t see how you’re getting downvoted or how this can be honestly refuted

no we go 15-0 every year. Is what most people on this board would say. 9-3 isn’t good enough. Our QB who got us here stinks… did I do this right?

Context matters. Look at where the program was before CBK got here. Nobody expected LSU to be playing for a SEC Championship this season.

Is LSU playing another SEC game after the SEC championship game?

If we don’t win Saturday, we need to cut our losses with BK. SEC champions is the minimum we should ever get at LSU. Even if a coach takes over a team in shambles!

LSU could lose that last 3 games and finish 9-5. While some may see this as "success" because their expectations were low it is a huge disappointment for where LSU was to where they could be. Assuming they lose to Georgia and their bowl game. If they win both then the season is still a success with an SEC Championship and a really good bowl game victory.

6-2* and being as it’s 3 games above what we did last year, that’s a pretty damn good improvement lol.
