Sure, just replace Sankey with a non-retard

At this point who cares. Other conferences will either be knocking the door down or with Lane here and all eyes on LSU, go Independent and make a TV deal.

I think everyone here is guessing. No one has any real answers.

I'm wondering when LSU will release a statement.

Yes and they will. And yes, at the very least there will be fines and LSU will agree to them despite the rhetoric here.

What is LSU supposed to do? Not play pro players? Well that happened already? Kiffin can't make snide remarks during a sideline interview? OK, then LSU or Kiffin can sue for 1st amendment rights violation.

The SEC can make ammends by stopping all this shite and just deal that Kiffin and LSU aren't going anywhere.

It will be like one of those awkward get togethers where two parties hate each other but grit their teeth and order another drink just trying to get through the evening.

I think the SEC will want us to suspend or fire Kiffin to make amends, and I hope the admin has the balls to say go frick yourself before doing that (it seems like they do.) Woodward would have caved instantly

Depends on how far the SEC keeps pushing it. If cooler heads prevail, and they drop this asinine federal suit, sure... but that doesn't look like it's happening.

For what?

LSU has rostered/played 0 players that were involved with NFL

Texas played 1 last weekend

Alabama played a NBA player last year

How? LSU gave in and didn't roster the players. LSU tried to make amends and were told frick off, we're expelling you after doing what we asked.

Time for Saban to become the SEC Commissioner.

Of course we can. If Rocky Balboa can convince America and Russia to make amends then I think Jeff Landry can talk the SEC leaders who matter into making amends with LSU and vice versa.

Remember what this is all about: establishing the SEC"s ability to govern itself.

LSU wants to be in the SEC and the SEC wants to have LSU as a member.

LSU agrees to pay a fine and the SEC gets its legal basis for that kind of governance.

Then, 2-3 months from now out of the blue after everything is settled down, Sankey announces his retirement.

LSU takes one for the team and that is the price paid for their cooperation.

There is someone in media locally said LSU hasn't liked how other Presidents have approached this situation. I don't think LSU feels there is an avenue back.
