let's remember even ole kelly kept games close with lane. we coulda won that 2023 game with any type of defense.
we MAY have gotten lucky in 2024. lane prolly shoulda won that game.
we were shite last year and hung with them until they mercy kneed at the end.
we have a better team and coaches. we SHOULD win by double digits 10-14 but this is the sec and crazy shite happens on the road.

These kind of calls ALWAYS “interject “ themselves into almost every game—because you know why? The refs are humans and make mistakes, not because they are trying to punish LSU.

Leavitt has to take care of the ball and the O-line has to perform. Getting at least 4 yards on first down will be very helpful.

My liver isn't going to be able to handle that. If LSU runs the ball down Ole Miss throat for 4 quarters and they're doing close ups of a demoralized and steadily emptying stadium with LSU fans partying and carrying on........Then Pete gets caught in a close up drinking from a flask.

100% agree. Defense travels, but first road game of the season in a wild environment, things could easily go sideways, particularly for the offense and OL.

What part of LSU that you’ve seen requires LSU to need a short field?
Ole Miss is living off legacy. Next year they will be out of any left. They will return to their rightful non hooker years as a bottom 3.
Goldilocks and the Three Beers is not the architect of the Ole Miss offense, but he was the architect of that horrible defense they’ve put on the field.

Wrong - this LSU team could very well blow out Ole Miss tomorrow. You may not have watched the first couple of games but I have. We are playing complementary football. We are running the ball. We are playing defense.
It may be close if a few things go against us (Chambliss breaking long runs is my main concern) but I'd say about a 40-50% chance we win by over 14 points.
