It’s not the 70s anymore get over it old piece of shite it is stupid weed will get you suspended when it is already legal in some states and will be legal every where in 10-20 years but keep spreading your stupidity you probably don’t have many years left anyway

Just because it may be "legal" in a state, as long it is still illegal federally, its the against the law...state law does not supersede federal law and until federal law is changed, its still illegal...

and your arse wouldn't be able to handle the 70s and 80s...

If the NCAA tests for it, than Lee it banned

If they don’t we’re only hurting ourselves by policing at a higher level than the NCAA

So other schools have a compliance department as well? I’ve been told this only happens at LSU.

The only common sense action is to just don't smoke it. How did "standing up " work out for Colin Kapernick? Nobody will touch him with a 10 ft pole now.

You cherry picked one example of someone standing up for what they believed in and failing? Guess Rosa Parks should've just moved. Guess the colonists should've just left that tea alone. Prohibition would still be law with that mindset. Weak.

You do realize you can do both, right? You can follow the rules while simultaneously advocating for change. Many of us that say “rules are rules” would be supporters of a rules change.

Agreed. I was only responding to the OP who suggested the POLICY MAKERS maintain the abstinence policy, along with degrading anyone who may feel differently (generation z snowflakes and leftover hippies). Regardless, you are correct in stating that one should not risk a prominent future while the fight for common sense policy change is ongoing.

The "rules are rules" argument is lazy

As someone who manages people, I 100% disagree. It's about discipline. It shouldn't be hard to not do something. There is no action involved. Just don't do it.

Sorry but weed should be legalized for recreational use. It’s less harmful than cigarettes,

Ummmmm. . . Exactly how many of our players do you think smoke cigarettes? Which is less harmful? A bullet to the heart or a bullet to the head?

Your logic ain't 'zackly logical.

That's a different argument. I think the OPs point is that if the NCAA is going to crack down before the playoffs, you need an internal policy that helps you adhere to that.
