Any commissioner only does what the owners / presidents tell him to do. He is their puppet.

There are presidents in his ear yelling him to do this.

Didn’t auburn make a run at him too a few years ago? So this notion that the sec frowns upon schools going after other coaches in the conference is BS.

Agreed. Now that Kiffin knows LSU will go to war for him, I don’t see him leaving for another SEC school. He has a program with championship resources, a deep recruiting base, and leadership willing to stand behind him when things get contentious. What would he be leaving to find?

That kind of backing matters for a coach who’s willing to challenge the establishment and push every advantage available to his program. If LSU keeps matching his ambition with that level of commitment, this could be his last stop. He’ll spend the rest of his coaching career making life uncomfortable for the SEC’s established powers—and LSU will be right there with him.

From my understanding it’s a discussion with possibility to vote. Also, all the reading I’ve done states that expulsion doesn’t require cause, which is pretty crazy honestly.
