Is the difficulty of getting a double double for women the equivalent of a triple double for men? I’ve never heard much hype for men getting double doubles.

It’s her consistency in achieving the double, double that is remarkable. In the first half of her rookie season her 15 consecutive double, doubles is an all-time league record.

How many players in the NBA do you think average a double-double the entire season?

How do you average a double double? You get it. Or you don’t.
Sabonis had 77 in 82 games. Women play 40 games total?

It was a fantastic game. Very well played. MVP was Arike Ogumbawale who had 34 second half points with spectacular three point shooting.

So to answer your question, averaging a double double should mean you get it more times than you don't.

But mathematically, just means you're averaging 10+ whatever 2 stats

Oh, like Iverson 10+ points and 10+ turnovers == a double double.

Very random, apologies lol.

Team USA was more worried about their dinner reservation after the game than they were the Allstars. Zero effort from them

you serious Clark?

Averaging a double-double means your ppg avg through the season is 10+ along with either assists or rebounds. Halliburton is the only player that averaged a double-double this past season in the NBA combining P+A. 12 players averaged a double-double in P+R so 13 players in the nba averaged a double-double last year. Jokic came close to averaging a triple double at 26.5 pts,12.5 R & 9 apg.

Well she was the 1st wnba player to get a double double in the ASG since 1999. That should tell you something.

Responses like this crack me up. You took the time to open the thread. You took the time to type that out.

If you don’t care about women’s basketball, why bother?

It's not that they bother posting about something they don't care about, it's that assholes will take every opportunity to be an a-hole regardless of topic. They care about attention, not womens BBall.

I watched it, and idk if it was just because of the format (Team USA vs the players who didn’t make the team) but the game was very good. Probably the best “allstar” game I’ve ever watched. The players actually seemed to be trying unlike the pro bowl or the nba all star game
