My buddy just showed up to the pmac for the basketball game tonight and the AC is out. Workers confirmed

They need to build track and field a new facility past the Box and then build a new PMAC on Nicholson and N Stadium. Built in such a way that it can host non LSU events to help generate more revenue for the university.

The plan right now is to reno the PMAC unfortunately, it will be a big reno, $200 million or so. But still disappointing its not a new arena

It’s mind boggling at the issues that face all of our athletic facilities. We have so much damn money but simple things can never be fixed.

At that price, why aren't they building new? Alabamas initial price for their brand new arena was $183 million for this...




Now due to rising inflation costs, they're reevaluating but still it seeks wild to renovate an existing structure for somewhere near the Cost of building new

Its because they want to keep that exact spot I believe, plus it will include renovating the practice facility and what not.

Tear down the Ag Center & build a new arena there.
