Realistically, what is the worst thing that could result from today’s hearing? Is there any world that we would have to forfeit games? Suspensions? I have already heard the rumors of possible expulsion, which is a very low chance, but is there any reason for concern for how this could impact this season?

It’s all a bunch of blustering

Reality is that LSU isn’t getting kicked out, the players will be able to play without penalty

The SEC and Sankey will beat their chest over their early morning victory and back peddle on the rest

CAn't forfeit games that have not been played, and the players are not actually on the official roster yet (those have to be in 24 hours before kick-off)

If the players have a court order to play then they can play and only if ruled ineligible later will they be removed from the roster. Bama had this happen with the basketball kid, he played 3 games and then was removed when deemed ineligible, but Bama did not vacate any wins

The expulsion thing is all an act to get LSU to back down, no way the SEC goes through with that

What entertainment weather you like it or not this is once in a lifetime drama. It's like Pro Wrestling or a male soap opera. I'd rather not have it going on but at this point frick the SEC and Skankey with this BS.

I hope LSU gets the ruling and those players play, all this because of that shitshow of an organization of the NCAA. The free publicity LSU has gotten with this you couldn't pay for. Recruits see the only university that's sticking up for the players.

Lookup the Derrick Rose case at Memphis. He was cleared by the NCAA and then they came out after the fact and said that they shouldn’t have cleared him and made Memphis forfeit a NCAA runner up season. The question always remained, would they have taken that action if Memphis won it all.

All that to say, don’t try to bring logic into a conversation about the NCAA or SEC

IMHO, the best longterm outcome for LSU sports is the judge fails to continue the TRO/Injunction and zero players who signed an NFL contract of any kind are ruled eligible.

And most of us would be ok with that if it applies to Texas, OU, Missouri, SCe and any other SEC school that signed a player who spent one second in any nfl camp.

The problem is Sankey carving out exceptions for every little thing EXCEPT if related to LSU and Lane.
