Considering 1 score was a punt return, Ole Miss scored more on our defense than Bama.

And if LSU kept the foot on the gas at the the end, they win by 4 freaking TDs.

4 TDs..

It's irrelevant how much you give up when you are doubling the score. Idk why people complain and shite. Nothing major can change at this point.. Why even worry? Just keep getting enough stops to let the most efficient offense build the lead.

The score was 30+ to like 7 at half.

Even with a poor defense, that's really hard to fully come back from.. even with as great of an offense as you can put out there.. Look at Bama and Ole Miss game.. Both of those offenses played as well as you could and both still trailed by double possessions every time they had the ball?

LSU even turned the ball over twice in the 2nd half.. and still won going away..

Is this what we said when our Defense was over the top good? Don't worry guys, score 12 points and we will win! We are going to be ok!

I still can't get over how ridiculous this is of a comparison.

I would take this problem on defense over a problem on offense.

Imagine if our offense hadn't turned the ball over uncharacteristically twice in the 2nd half.. just how much of a route this would be..

The fact that this offense can do that and still score nearly 60 is flat out ridiculous.

As long as our defense is making stops in here in the first half to get us huge leads.. then I still like our chances of other teams trying to play catch up.

I have longed for the day LSU would have this type of confidence on offense. I have always said give me a QB who throws 4-5 tds and 2 ints over a qb that throws 1-2 tds and no INT.

The defense was out of position constantly in the second half against ole piss. It wasn’t fatigue. They were simply undisciplined.

A defense should attempt to take away what the offense wants to do by utilizing personnel and designing a scheme.
I agree with this. We should have stacked the box and given them the impression that we were gonna stop the running game. We should have forced them to throw the ball.

They score at a very fast pace. This has hurt the defense some

And all those 3 and outs with NO score helped the defenses of old how?

Did you actually watch the Vandy game or are you like the rest of these clowns that think Vandy's offense scored 38 ?

Vandy scored 24 points against the LSU defense the other 2 TD's came on a fumble in the endzone and a pick 6 on the last play of the game against Brennen.

Everyone is going to the 3/4 because of how multiple it is... you can do so much more with it.. and is best at stopping the run...

It took a while for the offense to adjust to the “new style” and it will as well for the defense.

But I’d rather we have an above average defense with an offense that can score at will than an outstanding defense that has to hold opponents to 10 points because our offense is inept.

I think we would all rather have an above average defense with an offense that can score at will. Unfortunately, I’m not sure we have an above average defense.

The defense struggles vs mobile or dual threat QBs. We were fortunate to play Tua with a bum ankle, (not saying we wouldn't have still beat them, but would've been a shootout).

Luckily there aren't any of those qbs left on our schedule.

Ohio state has some very good talent.

Clemson does too and they’ve got championship experienced players and coaches

We need to strive for improvement

I agree with this but putting another slow DLman down wouldn’t have helped. We needed speed and Aranda did recognize this late in the game when he put Brooks starting.

Having Brooks, Chassion, Delpit, Stevens and Phillips all playing inside the box would have stopped this rushing attack in its tracks. We could have alternated all these guys in pass defense with them eying the QB and RB. Put a spy on the QB and RB. They were not throwing the ball.
