What’s going on out there is unacceptable and we cannot let it be ruined. Constant gun violence is where I draw the line. Maybe it’ll do nothing but if enough people complain something could be done.

I'd suggest also reaching out to Scott Ballard, current board chair for the LSU board of supervisors.

He wasn't on board with a lot of the decisions LSU has made over the past few years but didn't have the political capital to do much about with Edwards and Tate in power.

When you lower admission standards you become a third world country..
The number of texts I got from long time fans appaled at the pot filled and other filled tailgating atmosphere before the game, and then terrified of the violence and Charger driving Twerking folks rioting, was amazing. Glad I stayed away and I am terrified of the game my 85 year old mother wants me to take her to in November.
I hope these fools running LSU realize that once the people with money quit coming it is all over but the crying...

These threads need to be stickied. The number 1 threat to LSU is not Coach Kelly, a bad offensive line, a dinged up QB, or a shitty basketball team. It’s crime, coupled with the reasons why is has reached into campus.

We tailgate on south stadium drive, right next to the police headquarters and About an hour before the game, one of Louisiana’s finest fired a 9 mm round directly in front of our tailgate. The kid was pulling his gun out of his pocket and shot himself in the leg. Fortunately, he didn’t have a chance to truly fire it at a person, but it’s a miracle this wasn’t another headline. I haven’t seen anything even posted about this incident either, so many fans don’t know this even happened. But this is quickly ruining LSU’s oldest and greatest pastime and we won’t be bringing our family back if this continues without change.

Is Baton Rouge going to have a hurricane/flood like New Orleans where we ship all the people to another city like Alexandria? Baton Rouge problems escalated after Katrina. The problems go where the people go. It’s a small percentage causing a lot of problems.
