Not trolling. Bill Busch is who is making all the noise in California. He’s the guy who got Ika. He’s the guy who got Ricks. He’s the guy who has developed Stevens so nicely.
He’s the guy Dave Aranda handpicked. That’s all good enough for me

He’s definitely a commodity

Knowing about it and being able to stop it are two different things

LSU coaching staff (2018)
I see two very interesting things from that list.
1) Steve Ensminger is supposedly finished after the 2019 season, but his contract does not expire until long after both recruiting periods for 2020. Who wants to take the OC job in April of 2020? Ensminger's contract almost guarantees him the OC position in 2020 unless Alleva buys him out.
2) Dave Aranda's contract goes a full 3 months longer than Ed's. Aranda is HCIW in all but name. As things stand, Orgeron has until December of 2021 to get to the playoffs -- if not, it looks like Aranda will get promoted.

I don't see Aranda being here that long before taking a HC job elsewhere. Hope I'm wrong but his stock will be sky-high after next season and more teams will come knocking.

There are only 2 coaches on this staff I would fear losing:
1. Aranda
2. Raymond
Look at LSU over the past 8 years. Coaching changes, ineffective units, lack of production, two loss seasons, four loss seasons...but what has been the one constant that fans have never had to worry about?
The secondary. The coaching and recruiting in the secondary has always been elite. And that's largely due to Raymond.
LSU needs to offer him whatever he wants. It would be inexcusable to lose him to Georgia.

Before the early signing period a lot of PC changes happened after signing day. Cam Cameron was hired after signing day. Also LSU can hire a new OC and just pay E the remainder of his contract if they want to do it sooner.

You’re making too much out of a few months of a contract.
Someone could quit/ get fired, etc, and LSU would owe them just the last few months. This is not a big deal, or particularly relevant.

If Raymond is serious about being the best coach he can be at LSU, he’d avoid news getting out like this. He’s seriously damaged his reputation as a recruiter for LSU.
Seems like he’s ready to move on. Raymond is the only person who lets this leak.

Does O value Raymond at the level the fanbase does?
Since Smith leaked it, it tells me Raymond is trying to get it out there

Corey is tired of being treated like he's replaceable and taken for granted for his loyalty to the program. This may very well just be his idea of gaining more leverage, but this isn't a situation to ignore.

Neither Raymond nor Aranda have been here for 8 years. DBU was alive and well before either got here and it will be alive and well when they’re gone. People freaked out when Ron Cooper left.

And you know this how?

He should demand a raise, title, or whatever in private. This is a bitch move.
Posted on 1/12/19 at 3:44 pm to VolTiger13
I don’t see why he’d have to “interview” over two days...he’s got enough skins on the wall to be hired without an interview.

Sorry to tell him this but every position coach is replaceable.

So O doesn’t need to be loyal to LSU but rather USC with hiring all of his failed buddies but an actual LSU guy that has proven to be tops in his area and as a re recruiter is being told to stop trying to better himself?
Some of you have gotten ridiculous with your blind support for the buffoon in charge.
I hope Raymond does what his best for him. His current boss backstabbed the guy that gave him a chance to get back in here at LSU to take his job, so why would you ever trust him.
Also, Busch helped Delpit but he got most of his coaching from Raymond before this season not Busch. Also, no other safety stood out this year. Safety play outside of Delpit was horrendous. Stevens was being coached at LBer not safety so stop giving Busch credit for him.

Do you think, Lsu will counter whatever UGA offers?
