i guess the upside is...they can play next year no matter what....its not like these two are opting out for the draft

Basically an extra redshirt year. Makes a lot of sense honestly if they weren’t expected to play much this year.

I'm not sure why you are huffing and puffing. Several former black Democrats came out during the RNC and via other online platforms advising they were brainwashed at home, school, and in their neighborhoods by the democrats including but not exclusive to all Republicans are "white supremacists" and Republicans don't care about blacks. I'm not sure why you wouldn't think this a possibility with these black former Democrats outright saying it happened to them.

Bro these kids grew up in Louisiana their whole life as a kid i never said man it's hot asf outside im not going to out to play that just wasn't a thought covid maybe a concern but that thought becomes intensified when Coach O comes out every week saying that BJ,Phillip,Jacobian, and Jaquelin are impressing in camp and their names aren't mentioned and on top of that he just moved Evans back to defense so their really buried now.. This is all about them being buried on the depth chart covid is an excuse to fall back on

I think it’s hilarious how grown men on this board completely melt over 18-22 year old kids opting out. Parker and Jenkins weren’t going to see the field even with all the recent opt outs. 85% of the snaps are going to come from Anthony, Logan, Ika, Moore, Roy, Ojulari, Guillory and Gaye and after them they will try to get Taylor and Webb some time when the game permits. Guys like Cherry, Evans, Jenkins and Parker would have been the bottom of the depth chart.

You can't tell me that a guy that's has nothing but Democratic influence everywhere, will look at covid the same way a person with Republican influence does

I never thought I'd live to see the day when a disease would become politically partisan. Obviously a sign of the times...

So in your mind, the Republican filter is the filter of reason in this scenario?

Also, i'm guessing you are basing all of this on them being black.

Plus, i'm assuming you think that the coaches and medical professionals that they have spoken with have probably all pushed a "democratic" narrative as well right?

Even if the season is a screwy season, missing a year can’t make you a better player, PLAYING the game makes you a better player.

Maybe it really is covid concern, but someone needs to get through to these kids that you are soooooo much safer at the team facility and around campus then at home.

Coaches keep dying that, but if you’re not going around a million other people there is no actual way you’re safer around an addition 150 (team and staff) people than at home.

That being said, neither of these guys were gonna see the field soon. This feels like a freebie transfer thing.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people are so fricking afraid of this weak arse virus that they'd opt out and hurt their draft stock.

Ok, so you take the word of the beyond small number of black Republicans rather than the much larger amount of black democrats/progressives/independents that are saying a completely different thing and not getting any perks out of the deal? Interesting.

How many kids in white Republican households are raised hearing black people referred to as the N-word, no good thugs, and told Democrats are all pieces of shite? Easily the same amount, if not more. See how this works?

I've been saying this Shelvin opted out.
