Does this team fall in the top (or bottom if you will) 10?

1992 1993 1994 1999 2020 are the top 5. 1992 is number one. That team was horrific.

No. This year's team is disappointing, but it would blow out some of the abysmal, talentless Hallman teams.

As of now, I'd go with this team being in the running for #2 worst team with that 99 team. They lost 31-5 to UK (Purple pants anyone?) and 20-7 to Houston. They did kick a ranked Arky team's arse to end the season right after DiNardo was fired. #1 is still the 2-9 Curley team.

Curley Hallman laughs at this statement.

We’ve reached “at least he’s not as bad as Curley Hallman” territory.

Relatively speaking, 2020 is up there

Those Hallman teams weren’t made up of 4 and 5 star recruits all over the field

1981 has to be in there.

3-7-1. 2-4-1 in conference and we lost to Tulane.

What’s crazy is how many close losses we had, some of those to far superior teams, and we beat a ranked Ms St. team. I remember that season well as it was one of the first I remember going to every home game as a kid. We lost to A&M by 9, Florida by 7, Auburn by 2, and Kentucky by 2.

It's hard to judge with COVID and the lack of off season practice, but having a terrible State team drop 40+ in Tiger Stadium while breaking the SEC passing record along with losing to a Missouri team who had their whole D-line out with COVID is pretty bad.

Getting blown out by a bad Auburn team isn't great either

2008 was pretty awful

3-5 in SEC, needed a miracle to beat Troy, Andrew Hatch fiasco, Jarrett Lee & The Pick 6s, and the 2nd worst defense of the 21st century (this year’s being the worst)

1983, only LSU team to go winless in SEC play...but beat top 15 Washington too.
