Group A

Ack

Group B

Herring

Group C

Guidry

The rest I would like to avoid ever pitching a meaningful SEC inning.

Is that considered deep, moderate, or thin?

We win game 1 against Arkansas if ack is healthy. I firmly believe that

Possible but no way to know that they would have went to Ack over Little in that situation. I think at the time even with Little blowing the late game lead against A&M on Sunday they still had the confidence in Little in that situation. Now with that happening 2 games in a row I think it is definitely questionable as to how much confidence they have in Little towards the end of close games. Time will tell.

I’d put Cooper over Little but that’s about right

That's about it.

Collins needs more work, and they way theyve handled Guidry is curious. They need one of these guys to step up before the year is over.

Collins may have the best stuff out of the bullpen. It's a shame his control has been so bad this year. Last year he struggled some with walks (20BB/37K in 32.1 IP) but it's been nothing like this year.

If he's able to settle in, that would be huge.

Also haven't given up on Dutton as a 1-2 inning guy.

It's not deep, that's for damn sure. I got downvoted into oblivion for saying our bullpen was a concern. Of all my group A pitchers, none are elite. We need Herring to keep showing he's dependable, and Cooper and Little need to be able to hold 4-5 run leads comfortably. We also need 5 & 6 innings regularly out of Floyd and Hurd. The loss of Taylor and Noot will prevent this staff from being completely elite, top to bottom.

Now let me clarify, before people lose their shite. I'm speaking of what we need to win 22-24 SEC games, and be a top 1-3 seed, and make a deep run/win the CWS, which is what this team is capable of doing.

I have been saying our bullpen was a concern and getting bashed for it as well. We do not have a crazy bull pen. For instance, last year we had 3 guys (Rez, Cooper & Gervase) and that was it. In the regional we needed more guys, we had the lefty Hasty on the mound in the biggest spot of the season. And all three of those guys mentioned above are better then the three we have now. Cooper was way lighter and better last year so he still needs to prove himself.
