The only thing i can think of is that right before the friday night game Alabama said there starter was injured and one of the sport books in Ohio didnt see the switch and the LSU line stayed really low at -245 Ml and everyone and there momma hammered the bet which raised flags. That is all i can think of. No tampering or anything like that or the investigation would be everywhere.
The problem is that in college your best pitchers end up being a weekend guy and your closers are usually your 5-10th best pitchers in the rotation. If we want to make a deep run you need at least 5 guys that can go out there and get outs. Right now we have 3 guys in my opinion that have proven themselves into that closing role.

I am not worried about our hitting at all. Our hitting is what it is and it is dominate. Just when you have 4 games in 4 days at a regional or win 6 games in 5 days at the SEC tournament it just exploits the teams with not a very deep bullpen. Not to say people wont step up in the future its just right now that is my main concern.
I have been saying our bullpen was a concern and getting bashed for it as well. We do not have a crazy bull pen. For instance, last year we had 3 guys (Rez, Cooper & Gervase) and that was it. In the regional we needed more guys, we had the lefty Hasty on the mound in the biggest spot of the season. And all three of those guys mentioned above are better then the three we have now. Cooper was way lighter and better last year so he still needs to prove himself.
No predictions for Tigercoop40. You jumped my arse for making predictions. "You cant assume anything in the SEC" Just proves you are on here just to heckle / argue with people.
Dude are you being serious LOL. We are talking about projected record. Who cares what the outcome is at the end of the weekend. Who cares if we get swept and i said we would sweep. This is my "Projected Record" you goof ball. What would you say our projected record would be??
Then how do you come up with a projected record without assuming?? Your response makes no sense at all.
at A&M (12-4) - Sweep
Arkansas (13-2) - 2 of 3
Tennessee (14-3) - 2 of 3
at USC (16-1) - 2 of 3
Kentucky (14-2) - 2 of 3
at Ole Miss (14-2) - Worst Case Scenario 1 of 3
Alabama (15-2) - Sweep
at Auburn (12-3) - Sweep
State (11-5) - Sweep
at Georgia (12-4) - 2 of 3

That would have us at 23 - 7 in the SEC. Which is pretty doable
Had to come back and say something about this. Dugas wouldnt start?
I believe our biggest weakness is our Bull Pen. Having to rely on 3 guys again like last year is going to be very difficult in the long run. Last year Gervase, Cooper and Rez ate up all the innings and rightfully so but it was our week point for sure. This year SO FAR we have Little & N.Ackernhausen. Give or take our starting pitchers have been so dominate that its hard for our bullpen guys to eat innings but nobody out that pen has proven much or has seen SEC hitting. But all of this could change. Just my food for thought
1. Tre Morgan, 1B
2. Dylan Crews, CF
3. Tommy Tanks, 3B
4. Gavin Dugas, DH
5. Paxton Kling, LF
6. Josh Pearson, RF (Prove himself again after Fall ball)
7. Jordan Thompson, SS
8. Jack Merrifield, 2B (Most swapped position this year)
9. Alex Milazzo, C (Could see a lot of changes here)
