Career 35/46 (76%)

Is this the best we can get at LSU? Flat out embarrassing for a starting kicking in the SEC

That’s a college kicker.

He looked so good last week in Fayetteville. But yeah, he scares me everytime he trots out there. Last year as well.

His range is clearly limited, he has missed attempting his career long several times this year, yet the coaches trotted him out 3x last night from that distance.

Kelly is really bad at things like controlling the field. We have a punter that can’t book it long or pin it deep in their territory. The offense constantly sputters just outside field goal range. You have to plan for these sorts of things.

If it's a short, non-clutch kick he's fine. Otherwise he's terrible.

A little context, the 2 he missed was from 48 and I believe 49, they weren’t chip shots. He had an opportunity to redeem himself but the long snapper fubarred that one.

He's good inside 45. Above that is pretty shaky. In an era where college kickers are starting to get pretty reliable from 50, he's not it.

He's been solid his whole career really.

Last night something seemed off with the snap and hold several times. The timing, placement etc.

If we are being honest the snap to holder has not been a smooth one all year.

Todd is worse. He can barely punt 40 yards and can’t hold either.

The kid was 12-14 coming into this game.
Good for a guy kicking outside on grass.

But he has had issues from over 45 yards

Didn't we get a punter from la tech that averaged like 45 yds last year, and this year he can't beat out our 'top punter in the nation as a HS senior' who can't kick the ball 35 yds in the air? Do we have a coach on stafff that has changed their kicking motion or something that has made them worse? Inexplcable Special team kicking
