Thanks. I know his dad had to be but I have never had the pleasure of meeting him.

One of the best punters we ever had. Underrated.

that’s what i’ll remember him as

that was the first of so many undisciplined and stupid penalties that lsu has accumulated over the last 15 years

No, I don’t.

This inane fascination some people on here have with trotting out this dumb narrative every time someone under the age of 50 dies is nowhere near the same universe as legitimate.

I’m a paramedic and cath lab nurse. I’ve seen more pulmonary emboli, deep vein thromboses and cardiomyopathies in the last 3 years. Correlation? Many young people seem to be dying of “heart related issues” in greater numbers.

Yes, a correlation with COVID.

I read the title twice before clicking on it because my brain didn't want to believe what I was reading.

Really sad to hear this news. May his family find peace and comfort. God bless them all.

This anecdotal story must have a scientific basis in reality, right?

And what the hell does it have to do with Rahim Alem dying?

Take this commentary to the OT or the Political board. It has nothing to do with the topic here and it is dumb how many times it gets brought up anytime someone under 50 has a health issue.

They’re referring to the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that he got in 2008 during a loss against Arky

quote:

LSU’s Rahim Alem received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on that same drive for kicking the ball after an incomplete pass.

“Our players don’t understand how much that hurts our team,” Miles said. “You can’t make penalties like that and expect to win.”
