Reid - .269 avg
On Base % = .437 which is 2nd best on the team among the regular starters behind Josh Smith's .467.

I’m starting to think coaching is the problem on this team.

Someone just needs to light a fire.

Coach lost his pop, and I think he needs to bring in some more leadership besides young, former players.

Don’t forget catcher dummy,
Smith is the only hitter.

Reid has an OBP% of like .440. That doesn't make him an automatic out. And no, a catcher is not an infielder

CPM's teams do this just about every year... they start slow and as the temp warms they seem to hit their stride. Hopefully that will be the case this year

We seem to forget that the leaders of the 2009:championship team were
3;seldom used seniors: Buzzy Hayden, Chris McGee and Nick Pontiff

They’re changing their personal theme songs. Less Boosie, more mumble. Should flip the script a bit. Kids will be ready to rumble and may win a weekday game against some stout state-wide competitions.

To win a national championship, all you have to do is make a regional, then get hot the first 3 weeks of June.

I looked. Today is March 27.

Good. They need to wake up.

It's likely too late. You can't lose 2 of 3 on the weekend and treat the mid-week games like tune-ups. They need to play to win every game now (i.e. use your best players from here on out) and not use the mid-week games to tinker anymore if you can't guarantee wins in those.

You're right. It's a catcher. Just like a pitcher is not an infielder or outfielder.

With the best case scenario in the SEC being 10 losses, winning all remaining midweek games will put us at 40-16. That, and a strong SEC tourney may get us a Natty Seed.

Take the "L" and move on. You're digging the hole deeper.

If LSU finishes with 20 wins in the SEC they will 100% be a top 8 seed
