He said we know Etling, isn't championship quality, but we don't know if Brennan is.
Shouldn't the coaching staff already know who is best? Should the coaches start Brennan so the fans can judge whose best?
If this makes sense, why not start Brennan v Arkansas, McMillan v Tennessee and Narcisse v A&M. After all how do "we" know, right???

If Brennan could beat out Etling in practice, he would start.
If you believe O that has not happened, therefore why reward Brennan for not beating Etling in practice.

You don't have to start Brennan to get him valuable reps.
I agree starting Etling is the way to go.
I'd just like to see Brennan get meaningful snaps in last 3 games and bowl game.
