You do know that he doesn't receive millions in benefits? But the school does

He played the entire year except for the bowl game.

Christian McCaffrey did the same and was still picked 8th overall.

Yeah... he got hurt then literally left campus 4 games into the season. Greedy Williams missed one bowl game in which we won. Big fricking deal.

This has been going on for seasons now. GMs have shown they don't care. You think his teammates hold it against him? Coaches? It's only the delusional, butthurt fans that get so bent up about it.

Then why do NFL teams who have clinched HFA or their divisions, rest players in the final game of the season?

This is correct.

Sticking with the team is one box Greedy could not check.

Wrong.

What caused him to fall is not meeting with teams during the scouting process.

I don't care how good a player is, there will always be some sort of question or questions surrounding a draft pick. By not doing interviews, Greedy left every NFL organization views on his character open to interpretation. Of course the organizations interviewed his former coaches, friends & teachers like they normally do to get a feel for his character but without speaking for himself, he left them to decide off other people's opinions instead of speaking for himself.

It also comes off as mighty arrogant to many front office people that a player is unwilling to do a simple sit down interview. I don't know if his agent encouraged this or Greedy pushed this himself but it was pretty dumb move not to interview as well as being dumb for his agent not advising him to do so. Even dumbasses like Vontaze Burfict & Reuben Foster interviewed with teams after both got sent home during their respective combines & these muthafrickas are half retarded.

A guy slides and only half the fan base wants to talk about his multiple red flags. The other half are in denial.

It's amazing what posters get so mad about here. It probably isn't the only reason, but I'm sure that his choosing to sit out had some impact.

Yep he had red flags. Not a physical player vs run. Didn’t do the correct things it sounds like in the pre draft process. Skipping the bowl game isn’t the problem. It hasn’t hurt others Didn’t hurt Bush and Gary from Michigan. Didn’t hurt Fant from Iowa

Greedy assumed he was a 1st round pick. Playing the game may or may not have helped his draft position, but skipping the game was a mistake. He needed to show out in a bowl game to better his chances to get 1st round $ and he didn’t. There was no benefit to not playing the game.

Michigan players quit and still got drafted first round. Maybe Greedy just started reading too many headlines about himself.

Just stop it! STOP! Two entirley different situations. Bosa had a season ending injuruy. He was told he could possibly return for a playoff game or Bowl game and that he may not be 100% even by then. He made the right decision.
