Just stop it! STOP! Two entirley different situations. Bosa had a season ending injuruy. He was told he could possibly return for a playoff game or Bowl game and that he may not be 100% even by then. He made the right decision.

lol, Bosa was cleared over halfway through the season. Told his team he wasn't coming back and starting prepping for the combine and draft. Sitting out the bowl games causing players to slide in the draft is such an ignorant take.

It’s sad you have this many upvotes. Shows the lack of IQ our fans have.

Quitters do prosper sometimes, but their character absolutely takes a hit. I was disappointed when he sat out. I am old school. Sports is a catalyst for life.

Well said. It's a character issue more than anything. Put me down for the love of the game as well. If you don't love what you do you might be in the wrong profession.

Fournette
Christian McAffery
Nick Bosa

It didn't stop teams from drafting these guys in the early 1st

He was hurt the third game of the season moron!

“Some of the media put it out there that I’d be back in a few weeks,” Bosa told ESPN’s Kevin Van Valkenburg . “It’s funny how people would even fathom that. They obviously didn’t know the injury. Then it looked like it was just me saying ‘F— it’ and leaving, when that wasn’t the case at all.”

When Bosa left the field against TCU on his own power, the severity of the injury was downplayed. Head coach Urban Meyer also made it seem as if Bosa would make a return, often “hopeful” that his star lineman would put on the scarlet and grey again.

But Bosa knew almost instantly that his college career was over.

“It was the worst pain I’ve felt,” Bosa said. “It was like a couple of pops in my groin. I knew right away that it was really bad.”
