This is all good and I expect us to win going away, but I remember a few years ago when the Lafayette branch of the University of Louisiana system thought they were the best that ever was and got beat in their first regional game by a SWAC team.
We need to keep our heads on straight to avoid a scenario like that.

It would seem to me that individual/ team stat comparisons shouldn't be made. The competition that each team in the field had during the course of the season is not on the same level. So apples can't be compared to apples.

They play at a baseball field that's park of a public city park called MacGregor Park that's closer to the University of Houston than it is to Texas Southern.

It's the same way in basketball. I have no problem with it personally. Yes, the worst team in the SEC would steamroll the SWAC but if any USCe or Ole Miss wanted to be in the tournament they shouldn't have lost so many games.

Just change their non-conference record to 2-22 instead of getting pissy and fighting because it's wrong. For the record Texas Southern is 2-22 in non-conference play.

LSU's Warren Nolan page shows the correct way to list it. LSU is 42-17 (vs D1) which is 17-8 non-conference, 21-9 in conference, and 4-0 in the postseason.
Texas Southern is 2-22 non-confernce. But it's your choice to have a thread with incorrect info in it and make people think Texas Southern is better than they really are against non-SWAC teams.
