This doesn't add up.

They went 4-0 in the SWAC tourney, so they went 2-22 in OOC play.

Having conferences like the SWAC get their tourney winner in is a joke. South Carolina and ole miss would run rule these scrubs.

20 to 0. Does the game get called after 7 innings or are we forced to play 9 and embarrass them?

You have a lot of idiots downvoting you, but you're correct. Their only two non conference wins were against Nicholls and Houston baptist

This is why we don't need to pitch Poche Friday. Whomever we throw would be the best pitcher on their staff.

Often, 4-seeds are legit. Not this year.

I'm more concerned about Illinois Chicago in the super regional. They are the legit team from nowhere this year.

This backs up the fact that I think it's a joke to let in the conference tournament champion and not the regular season champ. 4 wins in one week gets you in even though you flat out suck. If you are below .500 you should never even be in consideration for the big 64. Get your tournament Trophy and use it as a stepping stone for next season and recruiting. Take the Conference Champion, the real one, and put them in.

So you think LSU's season conference record should be changed to 25-9 because the Tigers won 4 games in the conference tournament?

The conferences are allowed to designate who earns their NCAA tournament bid, the regular season champ or the postseason tournament winner. It bit McNeese in the arse this year. They are sitting at home after winning the Southland Conference regular season title by two games over SLU. Sam Houston won the SLC tournament, and SLU had a top 30 RPI so McNeese got bounced out.

Uhh no? I'm not sure how you're getting that from my post.

Texas southern's conference record is 14-10 as you posted.

Their nonconference record is not 6-22, it's 2-22. You added the 4 tournament games to their nonconference record for some reason.

I didn't add or subtract any games from the TSU record for any reason. I pulled all the numbers I posted directly from the Texas Southern website's stats page. LINK

Again, you think conference tournament wins should be included in the season's conference record and not as non-conference wins?

Conference tournament wins are not considered "conference record" wins so they are included in the non-conference record by all teams, including LSU.

If you believe the TSU record numbers are incorrect, why don't you call TSU and set them straight? (Better call LSU, too.)
