Met him at a Newman football game (no idea who he was there to watch) but he was very personable with anyone who walked up to him. Seems like a good dude

Not sure how his tenure will go as AD but Verge is a nice guy. I've dealt with him in the past when he was lower on the totem pole and he couldn't have been nicer and more professional.

The original poster was just saying Verge came over and was a nice guy. Welcoming. Very Louisiana like. And yall all take it to the negatives of he isn’t making any decisions and why he was hired etc. it really must be terrible being so miserable all the time and never seeing anything positive in anything. I agree with the OP Verge is a great guy and represents LSU well.
