That rule only applies to students who live a certain distance from the school. I believe if the student lives within a 50 mile radius of the school they are allowed to commute.

Don’t let them get to you because they are insecure and have small dicks. They’ll accept reality soon enough. They use the same obvious lame arse one-liners all the time and are the same dumbasses who cat call a woman then really think she’s going to be turned on. Please never ask a serious question on this board... especially if it’s about your daughter.

Que the predictable “lighten up” douchebags.....

ahh we have a hard arse here. Hope you weren't that strict with her. In my experience the girls who grew up in strict families are the ones who end up drunk and getting dicked down behind Reggies.

Look at the dude's post history. He has a lot of nerve calling people out about immature responses.

How about checking with the school on this question?

I’m a little worried about your daughter because of your inability to figure this out in your own.

But it says a new student who never took college classes. So go take a summer class before fall enrollment at another university and you can get out of it......

There's a clause that negates that.

If LSU really wanted to increase its retention + graduation rates, then requiring students to live on campus in both freshman + sophomore years should be the focus. Supporting 1st & 2nd year students with plenty of coordinated evening study/tutoring would be a good step as well, in addition to plenty of additional ideas that work at the likes of Texas, Stanford, etc.

I have long been saying that LSU should also REQUIRE all 1st semester LSU students to take & pass LSU 101. A 1 hr. credit course that covers a nice range of LSU's founding/history, LSU sports (good, bad, & ugly), Alam Mater + Fight Song + 1st-4th down dances, LSU focused statistics of the student body over the decades/centuries & what majors produce what type successful/failed of alums, etc.
If everyone had to take & pass this course, the overall understanding of LSU + future donations/support would skyrocket.

Think I'm nuts? Take a look at TAMU. They require all new students to attend Fish Camp & they have the greatest alumni based support of any school.

The equivalent of Fish Camp is STRIPES, which LSU has and I went to. It is ok.

Is Stripes now required? It wasn't in the late 90s/early 00s.

Assuming the parents can afford it, I agree with this. Living at home is like just continuing high school.

Or just rent an apartment, it's a lot cheaper than living on campus.

Find some friends and rent a house. Split it four or five ways and you’ll save fortune, and she’ll have better living space.
