My daughter is most likely going to LSU next year and some people were telling me that freshmen had to live on campus. Could understand for out of state students, but if I live real close, I refuse to pay for an over-priced apartment/Condo! What's the scoop?

She would live in an on campus dorm. Not in an apartment or condo.

There are so many damn exemptions to get out of that "requirement" - Guarantee there's at least a handful that she qualifies for.

I’ll be a freshman at LSU next year. She can live with me, if she’s an 8+.

If I wanted to google it or knew to do that, i would have you prick! That's why i asked on here and if you don't want to give me an answer, that's cool (Don't comment at all). Man, i really love LSU, but how can there be so many smart-arse losers in one place?

I am sure they will make an exception for you since you think it is unfair. Keep us posted.

Let us know how that out-of-State tuition to A&M, UT @ Austin, Ole Miss or Alabama work out if they turn you down.

The chances of her being successful are 10000x better of she stays in a dorm.

I’m a good looking guy. If she’s a 9 I will swoop in. Hopefully you’re not trying to scare me right now.

Kids need to stay on campus for 1-2 years at least. It is part of their development.

She doesn't have to if you live within a certain distance from campus. I think it's 25 miles so something like that.

ETA - it's 50 miles

Not asking for an exception idiot, Have other options so would simply not attend if that was the case!
