As a well known QB Whisperer, what would be the first 3 courses of action you would take after last nights performance?

Run some drills in practice this week focused on moving in the pocket and the specific footwork that failed him a couple of times and caused off target throws. He’s going to move in the pocket so really work that. Add a few designed rolls to emphasize the foorwork and reinforce it.

One action. Every single pass play in practice is full speed 11 on 11 with a rush. He can’t scramble. Has to make a read and get it out.

Stay in the pocket longer.

Run designed qb draws or outside sprints for the first 3 plays. Let him get hit a little bit before he has to make his first pass.

Fix the offensive line so he not constantly throwing under pressure.

Make Leavitt wear a shock collar all week. Anytime he leaves the pocket, zap. He needs to get comfortable playing from the pocket or at the very least, keep his eyes downfield always. The best dual-threat quarterbacks are always looking downfield. He relies solely on his legs. That mindset needs to change.

Trust your eyes and let it rip. As someone else stated he reminds me of Daniel’s in year 1 and really needs another year in the system. I would also consider getting a few more reps to Clark because there is no way he can make an entire year running this much.
