Would want Lanoris or the beast from North Texas. (I don’t know if those are targets as of right now. Lanoris was while Kelly was here)

If Chambliss is able to win his appeal, he would be the obvious answer if he transferred (which he probably would). He already has QB'd Lane's offense very successfully with just one off-season to learn. Another off-season and he'd be tough to beat with good weapons around him. We still need an O-line/O-line coach and a few better WRs, but he would jump start things tremendously with his speed and accuracy throwing the ball all over the field.

Trinidad would be a 2nd or 3rd choice. He’s maximized his talent, but there will be better options in the portal.

gotta be Sam Leavitt...he's got two years of eligibility.

What? The dude completed 65% of his passes and accounted for 24 TDs to just 3 Ints. in only 10 starts never having played in division I before. And he did it in the SEC. He accounted for over 300 yards against UGA with 3 TDs, 380+ yards against us and 360+ yards against OU. He didn't just put up numbers against crappy defenses. The guy has played fantastic and has great instincts.

Simmons. Better than anybody on our current roster. Opponents will figure out Chambliss by next year. Simmons beat him out as starter AND he is an outstanding pitcher.
