Don’t get the Nuss-love. He bailed on this program and let his teammates play a bowl game without a QB. That was a year ago. This year it seems to be received wisdom that he will transfer if he doesn’t start.
With any kind of luck he will never start a game at LSU. Here’s hoping Daniels plays well and then hands the reins to Howard.

Do you remember the 2001 SEC championship game (Tenn)?
Do you remember the starting DB (maybe Randall Gay) getting hurt?
Do you remember Travis Daniels was inserted into the game, costing Travis his red shirt year of eligibility?
Do you remember 'the name on the front of his jersey was more important than the name on the back'.
A true example of team loyalty, integrity, and leadership!
By the way he had two pass breakups in the SEC Championship game, one in the end zone.
