Bookmark! Fans shouldn’t completely fault Paul Mainieri, part of their issues are the mounting injuries to key players which are taking a major toll on the Tigers season. Hard to see them recovering now. That doesn’t give PM a full pass, most players in high school hit better than the bottom of his line up.

Yep. One loss in football can ruin a season. Baseball is a different deal all together.

If PM does pull this off, gets to Omaha despite key injuries, does he get a raise and extension? Does that give his staff a raise or a pass?
