I don't think it's laughable to PROJECT Brennan as possibly being top 5 based on the offense he will be running and the insane weapons around him. The kid has 25 - 1 Heisman odds right now.

Yet he has not taken ONE meaningful snap for LSU his whole career thus far.....

Now, projecting 2020 performance for LSU players, not this NFL e-scout bullshite you are doing, I like:

Chase
Stingley Jr
Stevens
Brennan
Shelvin

But after last year, who TF knows? Someone like Damone Clark or TDP could blow tf up. If someone would have told you CEH would be a 1st rounder, you’d want to argue with them about it for 85 pages, yet here we are.

1. Duculous.
2. Todd harris
3. Jamone cox.
4. Stingley
5. Cushwnberry.

I put more emphasis on lineman. Wr are dime and dozens in this offense.

It’s not e-scouting. It’s actually seeing the player perform at a high level already during their career.

You are mocking me but your list is based on wishful thinking. Lol

I’m mocking you for mocking others for stating their opinions to a hypothetical question with partially defined decision criteria. As if your take or your definitions are worth more than theirs because of your ludicrous post count... it’s not.

This is big time college football. New stars explode onto the scene every season, and that not going to change because you can’t go “watch tape” or whatever it is you do in mom’s basement. If Chase and Marshall have “top 5” caliber seasons, Brennan won’t be far behind.

So like I said, you think it’s a gut feeling. And I will laugh at that all day when there are guys like Terrace Marshall on the team

Yea, if we're talking NFL draft. "Top" indicates production and value, not necessarily the best overall player in a pure NFL or talent look.

So, if Chase doesn't play he will not the the "top" player on the team.

Top indicates best player.

You can use whatever criteria you’d like.

Had we done this projection using e scout Lesters logic before last season, we might have a list that looks something like this.

1. Delpit
2. Fulton
3. Jefferson
4. Lawrence
5. Cushenberry

That’s why my logic & your brain would have yielded.

My list would not have looked like that.

Les, is this guy arguing that Brennan > Marshall?

He is yes

I made this thread in April & had him 10th. I think that’s pretty fair for a guy who’s done absolutely nothing

So you’re arguing that if a guy doesn’t play, he can still be the best player on the team?

No. “This guy” is projecting who he thinks will be the top 5 players on the 2020 team By seasons end, according to the OP. No one would argue that Brennan is better or more valuable that Marshall right now.

Brennan is gonna struggle. No tune up games. Barely any spring/summer. Hasn’t played hardly in 3 years. It’s a concern

4th coordinator in 4 years too

His weapons are elite, though. He just really needs to meet in the middle

Well that’s just ludicrous. You can’t be the best player if you don’t play. You’re, by definition, not a player.

^This

I think Chase has his own reputation at this point, but Marshall and McMath’s success has a lot to do with the way Brennan plays.
